The perfect day in Hawaii is comprised of a few essential things, adventure, amazingly blue ocean water, exciting scenes of underwater beauty, a sense of place (The Feel of Hawaii), and the inviting aroma of the BBQ on the gentle island breeze. Island RV has combined all of these amazing sensations into one spectacular tour allowing you to BBQ, hike, snorkel, swim, and kayak in one of Hawaii's special locations.
As we leave the Beach Shack you will enjoy a light narration talking about Hawaii's history, formation etc, we arrive at the place of refuge in South Kona in the lesser known section of Honaunau.
Here the gear is set up and we enjoy a BBQ lunch on the ocean's edge. Then guests are encouraged to explore, take a kayak, jump in the water, snorkel with the dolphins, hike the ancient trails to an old Hawaiian village site and soak in the energy of this historic setting.
It is a day that will long be remembered amongst your treasured Hawaiian memories.
After everything is packed up we are ready to return to Ali'i Drive with the final stop at the Kailua-Kona pier. The day was filled with scenes of beauty, Hawaiian history, birds, trees, flowers and multi-colored tropical fish, dolphins, whales, turtles and the warm Hawaiian hospitality. What a day!
